If success meant…

How many times did I sit naked by the river feeding berries to my friends?

Did I heal heartbreak? 

And bring generational curses to their end?

I wanna know real wealth 

Laughter, & wild gardens built by hand

I want the kind of intelligence birds have to cross oceans with no map

I don’t wanna be a boss

I wanna rage against the machine, ecstatically

Until the last day that it stands."
